“We brought Garrick to Desa Parkcity in Kepong on new year eve to watch fireworks. We were there at about 10pm+ and the place was already rather crowded. Initially Garrick was sitting in his stroller. Then I decided to carry him using the ring sling so that he can have a better view of the crowd and surrounding. Shortly after Garrick was put in the ring sling, he actually fell asleep. And he was like a koala bear clinging on me which felt really warm The good thing is Garrick was rather comfortable sleeping in the ring sling and as for me, it was also comfortable carrying him as I didn’t actually feel the weight. Here’s the best part…guess what, when the fireworks display started at mid night, Garrick somehow opened his eyes and he then watched the fireworks display for a good 10 minutes..still as comfortably in the ring sling. He enjoyed watching the fireworks very much as I could see how amazed he was from the look of his eyes. In my mind, I wondered if Garrick thought that experience was a dream. I’ll try to use the ring sling more often and practise the tips that you have shared. Thanks Chin Nee”.
